Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Hill Country at "El Castell". Nestled along the banks of the spring-fed Llano River we provide 4 cabins which serves as the perfect get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of city life, or home base to explore the outdoors.
Located across the street from the charming Castell General Store where you can enjoy great beers and one of the best burgers in Texas!
River swims, area hikes, fly fishing, hunting for topaz, llanite, quartz, exploring hill country towns await!
If you are looking for a quiet remote place to get away, this is the place! Bring your bikes, kayaks (or you can rent ours!), fly rods/fishing poles and relax + enjoy. We are located across the street from the Castell General Store so make sure you drop into and get yourself a cold beer and 3/4 lb burger (Best Burger in Texas, promise!). They jokingly call it "Luckenbach by the Llano River" according to an article written by Texas Monthly...so come for a few days or longer and really decompress, relax and breathe in the beautiful Texas Hill Country air or watch shooting stars streak across the sky.
With this booking, you will have access to the entire 3-acre property on the Llano River which includes our beautiful Llano River waterfront - and the privacy therein.
The main 2 cabins, which we call "Main House", are about 75 feet from the riverfront and are connected by a large breezeway deck with each cabin a total of 952 sq. ft. each. These are Cabins C & D.
We also have 2 individual cabins offset out front (closer to the road) that are also completely self-sufficient at 427 sq. ft. each. These are Cabins A & B.
Don't forget to rent Kayaks or Bikes for the entirety of your stay!

This was a perfect property for enjoying the river with a big group. The cabins provide comfortable, clean living and sleeping spaces and the outdoor amenities made it really easy to enjoy the river. The host was nice and accommodating as well.

Unbeatable location. River had great glow. All four cabins as described. Breezeway door on cabin C needs attention on the lock. Doesn’t stay latched very well. Appears striker/latch is misaligned or worn out. Also appears you have a large red wasp nest inside the north eave. Thanks for leaving a can of wasp spray. Ice maker in cabin D is very loud and barely makes ice. All ac’s worked well and kept cabins nice and cool. Lot was mowed and looked great. Kitchen well stocked. Family loved the place, just mentioning the few issues so you can address. We hope to return annually.

We play three courses in 3 days ending with the Crawfish Open golf tournament, the to the pavilion for crawfish!
