Welcome to Lakeside Lodge where fido is welcome! Nestled between the Nantahala National Forest and the Appalachian Trail, our 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath mountain retreat sleeps up to 14 guests. Enjoy pristine, spring-fed Lake Nantahala right in your backyard with a private dock and rolling walkway. Designed with luxurious rustic decor, this lodge offers the ultimate escape from city stress.
Sleeping Arrangements
• Master Suite 1: King bed, private romantic fireplace, and en-suite bath.
• Master Suite 2: Spacious room with luxury bedding and en-suite bath.
• Bedrooms 3, 4 & 5: Comfortable guest rooms accommodating large groups or families.
• Total capacity: Sleeps 12 to 14 guests comfortably.

Our lakefront lodge is located nestled in between the Nantahala national forest and the Appalachian trail on Lake Nantahala and with our pontoon boat rental option, you can take the whole group out on the lake for the whole day or spend the whole week exploring the waterfalls,fishing holes or rafting on the nantahala river. Our lodge features two spacious master suites 1 with its own romantic fireplace. Enjoy our private dock and rolling walkway or sit at the firepit with friends telling stories. after a long day of adventures our large jacuzzi is a welcome treat. Our pontoon boat will be available for rentals starting in April and going thru the summer. With five bedrooms and 3 full baths, 2-1/2 baths,a game room, theater room the Lakeside Lodge features amenities like hot tub, multiple fireplaces, private dock, 3 separate decks overlooking the lake and mountains, 2 of them are covered in case it rains. The Lakeside Lodge can sleep 12 to 14 depending on your groups makeup..

Beautiful scenery & you could go sit on the back deck and watch it. Veey spacious for all of us & great game/movie room

We enjoyed our stay at the Lake Nantahala lakefront house. The five children in our group (ages 2-11) had a blast. The house is four stories with lots of rooms and closets which was great for hide and seek. The game room was a big hit with foosball, pool, hockey sticks, and a miniature corn hole game. One night we watched a movie in the theater room. You get your exercise on the steps that go down to the lake. Once there, the floating dock is in good condition with a good ladder. There is a big blow-up trampoline in the water and tubes to float on. There is no beach as the slope down to the lake is steep. When you get to the lake it is about a foot deep, but not good for wading due to the silt that gets stirred up. However, the lake is awesome for swimming and jumping off the dock. We did not rent the boat, but it looked in good condition. Though the new bimini top needs to be installed and one of the seats needs to be fixed. There were life jackets and a tube for tubing. The kitchen was well equipped. The cleaning crew did a good job of cleaning such a large house, however, some deep cleaning is needed (ie, exhaust fans in bathrooms, we cleaned the mildew in the dishwasher). There were houses on both sides, but the lots are large and wooded, so you had privacy. Luckily we did not need to drive to town for supplies as I don't think it is a quick drive. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Overall the house is nice, we could not use the hot tub as it was dirty and when we turned it on, it was filled with a lot of foam and chlorine smell was unbearable. The key box is difficult to open. Taking out trash required us to drive 30 minutes one way!!! Otherwise they threatened to charge us for each trash bag. There are over 100 steep stairs to the lake, keep it in mind.
