As a family we have been renting cabins for over 10 years. We stay mainly in and around Ohio and PA. Our family has grown from 8 Adults and 1 child to 8 adults and 7 children. Thus our need for bigger and bigger accommodations. We enjoyed having 8 bedrooms and ample bathrooms. We cook at our cabins and really appreciated the spacious kitchen and access to 2 refrigerators. The dining room table accommodated everyone for multiple meals including our Saturday night steak dinner. My oldest son supplied the filets and we cooked them on the charcoal grill near the fire pit. We were impressed with the grill although it was a little rusty. The game room (pool table and arcade games) helped keep our 7 grand kids ages 3-13 busy. We brought 2 Nintendo gaming systems which we attached to the downstairs TV. This also helped in keeping them occupied. We used the fireplace on the deck the first night and we had s'mores. We made several fires in the fire pit morning and evening. Having 2 washing machines and 2 dryers was an unexpected bonus. Maneuvering the driveway was a little difficult at times due to loose gravel and hilly conditions. The raccoon trapped in the dumpster and the snake in the firewood just added to the excitement. On the downside, unfortunately, there was an odor from the septic system (mostly in the backyard) for our whole stay. Other than that it was an exceptional cabin and 4 day experience. Beautiful, comfortable property. Lots to do in the area. We would love to return again in the future.

Beautiful cabin, clean & warm. Check in and out were clear and access to all amenities was simple and enjoyable.

The cabin is great however a couple of items that we feel need to be addressed: The seating on the upstairs deck desperately need new cushions. This is a great area to gather and socialize however the poor seat cushions do not allow anyone to sit for very long. Also possibly consider adding a tv over the outdoor fireplace on the upper level. Lawn care needs to get taken care of on a weekday or non- rental day. We were VERY disappointed that the lawn care company showed up on our only Sunday and were there for over an hour during lunch time!. If this were to happen again we WILL look for a new location. Also, the dumpster is a bit too far away if the rental agreement is going to mandate that the renters are responsible for taking the trash to the dumpster. Fortunately for us we had family members with a truck and was able to drive it down.
