SEPARATE ENTRANCE
Here you live directly on the cliffs by the sea. The nearest beach of Vale Centeanes is a 5-minute walk away.
The living room, bedroom and terrace face directly south towards the sea and offer the best sea views. On the terrace you have a dining table for 4 people, 2 sun loungers, barbecue and parasol.
There is 1 sofa bed in the living room, on which 2 more people can sleep if required. The flat can therefore be used by up to 4 people. There is also a dining area and a TV in the living room. The flat has free WiFi and air conditioning in the living room and bedroom.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob with oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the room next to the front door.
From the terrace it is only 20 steps to the Atlantic Ocean.

SURROUNDINGS
The centre of Carvoeiro, where there is a beach, numerous restaurants, small shops, banks with ATMs and the post office, is just five minutes away by car. A colourful market with typical Portuguese handicrafts invites visitors to stroll around.
There are also equestrian centres, two water parks, a diving school, Zoomarine, golf courses, tennis centres and plenty of water sports facilities in the vicinity of Carvoeiro.
The bathing season lasts almost all year round.
Large shopping centres and supermarkets such as Intermarché, Aldi or Lidl can be reached quickly by car.
Carvoeiro is the ideal starting point for discovering the Algarve. This includes coastal walks, fantastic beaches, the Monchique Mountains with their 900 metres of altitude, Sagres as the most south-westerly point in Europe, historic towns such as Lagos and Silves, an interesting day trip to Lisbon (approx. 2.5 hours' drive) or an exciting day trip to Seville in Spain (approx. 2 hours' drive).
In summer, the Algarve offers a variety of cultural highlights in the evenings.

Ideal location; very spacious. Loved sitting in the back yard, looking at the ocean. There was a few issues, but when addressed with Harald, he tended to it right away. Curb appeal needs to be improved, as the outside yard work needs major attention, but apparently, that is the property of the city/town and they have no control over it. There was a huge dead tree, laying at the side of our accommodation, but didnt affect our view. We would consider going back there again, to Apartment Rosa.

In short summary - we loved Apartment Rosa. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. A 5 minute walk in flip-flops to the beach. The hiking trail along the coast is right outside the door. The view is incredible and we saw the best sunsets ever. I would write a check for Apt Rosa but of course it's not for sale. Thank you for everything Harald!!

The apartment is exactly as described in the photos, very well equipped and has everything you need to spend a great time there.
The location is perfect: just take the beach towel, walk 200 meters and we are already on a beautiful beach.
But the cherry on top of the cake is that you can look at the sea 24 hours a day, whether you are inside the apt or on the terrace.
I was in love with a huge and beautiful pine tree that is in front of the terrace that gave me shade and coolness on very hot days.
Within a radius of 5 km, we have countless beautiful beaches (it's mandatory to go to the Marinha beach). If you like hiking, you can visit them through a wonderful route over the cliffs (Seven Hanging Valleys Trail). This trail starts in front of this apartment and ends at Marinha beach.
We want to thank Mr. Harald for his availability and kindness. He has shown that he cares and tries to guarantee a good stay for his guests.

I selected the property for its Carvoeiro location, proximity to the beach, and the Seven Hanging Valleys trail which did not disappoint. The view of the ocean, cliffs, and proximity to the trail (literally 40ish yards from the back door) were worth it. Harald was very responsive regarding an issue with a kitchen light fixture which we appreciated. Bed was comfortable, and the AC worked well (thankfully, it was very hot). Overall, the property grounds and apartment are shabby and in need of some upkeep, landscaping, cleaning, and insect remediation. Visitors would also benefit from some supplies like additional linens, trash bags, toilet paper, salt, pepper, herbs if you want to cook.
