In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites is the small village of San Vigilio di Marebbe at 1201 m.a.s.l. - a popular holiday resort in summer and winter due to its extremely sunny location. The proximity to the famous Plan de Corones makes the village an ideal starting point for skiers and ski tourers.
On the outskirts of the village, directly at the mountain forest, there is the 70 m2 holiday apartment "Désirée - Appartement Luianta" on the first floor of a building built in the typical South Tyrolean style.
The rustic and comfortable apartment has a living room with a sofa bed for 2 persons and a corner seat, a well-equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds, as well as a bathroom with tub, bidet and toilet and offers space for 6 persons.
Wi-Fi, heating and a television set are also part of the equipment.
From the balcony you have a fantastic view of the mountains, the clean mountain air is a blessing!
Numerous routes for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers start directly in front of the house. The Fanes Sennes Braies Nature Park with its picturesque hiking trails is also nearby.
A restaurant is in direct neighbourhood (120 m), many more as well as supermarkets and other shopping facilities can be found in the centre of the village (1.2 - 2.5 km or 3 - 5 minutes by car).
And for the friends of winter sports: An entrance (Skiarea Miara) to the big ski area Plan de Corones, which is also a member of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, is already 1 km away, the ski bus starts directly in front of the house.
For all guests of the Apartment House Désirée the cosy wellness area of the partner house Promberger in San Lorenzo is available free of charge.
Parking spaces are available on the property.

The apartment was immaculately clean, very well appointed and a real pleasure to stay in. Manni our host was very friendly and extremely helpful. He also spoke excellent English. It was s great place to stay to explore the stunning area. We loved it

Pros: Pulizia, spazi vivibilissimi della casa, cucina molto fornita e possibilità di usare lavastoviglie
Cons: Forse la posizione che non permette passeggiate post cena ma dopo le escursioni e due bambini piccoli è un dettaglio trascurabile 😅
