The word wonderful describing this place is perfect. It was absolutely magical. We will return. It surpassed everything we thought it would be.

The apartment was clean, well stocked, and just like the pictures. The views of the lake are amazing. We enjoyed many beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location. Steps from the lake for a daily swim, all the great restaurants in Varenna, the ferry, and of course, gelato! Don't underestimate the value of AC if you're visiting in the summer. It was SO nice to come home to a cool place to relax. And don't miss the hike up the hill to the castle.
