Beautiful views, clean property, ample household amenities (bonus for families with small children), convenient to Asheville and surrounding areas. 30 minutes to must-see Mount Mitchell. Convenient to Camps Ridgecrest and Crestridge. We’ll be back!

Loved the property. Absolutely beautiful house and area. The views are spectacular, you feel as though you are secluded in nature. The VRBO was well stocked and everything was nice. The family that owns it was very nice. The beds were very comfortable, and sitting out on the raised deck overlooking the sunset was breathtaking.
A few things to know. The location is up the mountain, so it is along a very windy road, about 10-15 minutes into town. It isn't that long, but if you are doing it to just get food or something from the drugstore, it is a long way, especially as windy as it is. Second, the driveway is very steep.
Overall, we loved it. I would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived, there was no heat, which was surprising because it had a Nest system. It was 50 degrees. 2 hours later it was 60 degrees so I called the rental management's emergency line and left a message. We didn't get a call back and an hour later it was still only 62 degrees. We went to bed and sometime during the night the heat finally kicked on. It was fine the rest of our stay but someone who manages the rental should have made sure there was heat on in November in the mountains.
Otherwise, a beautiful property just steps away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiking trails.
