Our house is located in a quiet and central area in Schönau am Königssee and offers a magnificent view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. It is the ideal starting point for short and long hikes as well as mountain tours. In just 20 minutes, you can reach Königssee or the Jennerbahn valley station via a beautiful walking trail. A bus stop is about 200 meters away. An outdoor swimming pool, shops, and restaurants, as well as the town center of Schönau am Königssee, are just a few minutes’ walk away.
We provide free Wi-Fi to our guests. Parking is available right at the house.
In winter, cross-country ski trails are within a 10-minute walk. The snow-covered cross-country trail at Aschauerweiherbad is a 15-minute drive away. There is also a floodlit trail there.
In the immediate vicinity, you can go tobogganing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking on the Jenner Winter Adventure Mountain amidst stunning scenery. Backcountry skiers will also find plenty to enjoy there.
The small but charming ski resorts such as Rossfeld, Obersalzberg, Hochschwarzeck, and Götschen are easily accessible by public bus or car.


Vacation Apartment 2 (Grünstein) is located on the upper floor and offers 30 square meters of space. It features a separate bedroom, a kitchen-living room with a kitchenette (stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster), a dining area, a seating area, TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a bathroom with a shower and toilet. From the two balconies, each furnished with a table and chairs, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains.
