Stay was nice, the puppy stuff was a nice touch.

Communications with the host were excellent. The cabin’s amenities were outstanding and thoughtfully organized. The views from the lake dock were absolutely gorgeous.

The inside cleanliness was OK, except for finding Goldfish crackers under the kitchen counter and we didn’t have any Goldfish. The outside was a totally different matter. The outside was overgrown in vegetation and the walls of the cabin were covered in spider webs, almost wrapping the place in a cocoon.The pictures on the listing are comparably not recent as the outside in the back between the lake and cabin was overgrown with vegetation. The steep steps down to the lake was so bad I had to take out my cutting pliers to trim a path through the briars. Coming and going on the road also had its issues because it was not well maintained and the briars rubbed my car coming in and out. Overall it was just an average stay because the inside was OK, but due to our interest in using the lake for fishing and the state of the poor access to the lake and the conditions outside the cabin, it was a poor experience.
