Enjoy a MEMORABLE FAMILY/FRIENDS vacation experience in this spacious Mexican-style 3 BEDROOM 3 BATH home with 3 large ocean-view patios, and large grassy lawn for lounging and relaxing.
1) SUNSET AND SEA LANI, located on the ocean side of the home, with a beautiful view looking over the expansive grassy lawn, and out to sea with sightings of spouting whales, playful dolphin and sea lions ...along with coastline, whitewater view looking north to calafia. The coastline is especially beautiful at night.
2)WHALE WATCH LANDING, located halfway down the steps ,nestled into the slope just above the beach giving you perfect views of the surfers, swimmers and beach walkers, without getting your toes wet..
3)SUNRISE GARDEN ROOM, located on the garden side of the home with views of the exotic and rare plants and a place to find quiet and serenity after a day in the sun and surf, or for morning coffee.
MASTER BEDROOM has king bed and private bath, with view of the ocean right from bed...
2ND BEDROOM has queen bed, and private bath with optional private entrance to garden patio
THIRD BEDROOM (Dolphin Room) has queen bed and private bath and private entrance.

Walk down our private steps to a wonderful semi private beach... walking, surfing (great break in front of home), panoramic ocean and sunset views from all 3 patios, especially the new beachfront 'Whale Watch Landing' which is located nestled into the slope just above the surfline. You may also enjoy the migrating whales & dolphins from your master bedroom and living room. We have a delightful new venue for socializing and Bar-B-Qing, the Garden Room. It is a large Room, located in the garden, under roof, with 3 sides open and lovely columns, offering fantastic views of the landscape as well as ocean and sunset. A great retreat to cook and socialize and to get out of the sun and ocean breeze.

My family and I just got back from our stay at Casa Sandcastle and we already wish we were back there. Our party included my husband and I, our two children (10 and 13), my parents, and our little dachshund. The house had so much space both inside and out for everyone to relax and and stretch out, as well as communal spaces for meals and game nights. The house was thoughtfully stocked and labeled so that we could find what we needed to cook, clean up after sandy beach days, watch television, and basically anything we needed. The view. My goodness, the view. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, crashing waves, and even some aquatic life that we could see from the house, from the back yard, and from the viewing landing. It is a perfect location to drive to local points of interest easily but come back to a quiet and beautiful place of rest and relaxation.Mary, the owner, provided amazing communication and helpful input leading up to our stay. She was so readily available to answer any questions, before, during, and after our stay.Something to note: although the house is indeed on the water, if you’re hoping for a day of play on sandy beach and swimming in the water, you’re going to have to go to one of the nearby beaches. The shore at the house is rocky and the current is pretty strong. A wonderful experience, a beautiful home, a truly exceptional host.

The home is just as advertised. Well appointed and very comfortable. Mary is a great host and very communicative. The check in process was easy.

What a very nice place to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. From my morning bible readings, drinking coffee, sitting outside and listening to the waves come crashing in, to just relaxing after a day of sightseeing, good food and more amazing views, relaxing and watching the sunset. We found the right house.

Our stay was perfect, we were attending a family wedding and the house was located 3 minutes from the venue 👍😃Also centrally located to good restaurants as well. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
