River Cottage Retreat – Peaceful Blackwood River Escape

Welcome to River Cottage Retreat, a peaceful three-bedroom country getaway set along the banks of the Blackwood River in Jalbarragup, approximately 15km south of Nannup. Surrounded by nature and neighbouring a national park, this relaxed retreat is ideal for couples, families, groups or anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the South West countryside.

The cottage accommodates up to six guests across three comfortable bedrooms. Two bedrooms feature Queen beds, while the third has two Single beds. The master bedroom also includes split-system air conditioning for added comfort.

At the heart of the cottage is a fully equipped kitchen with a rustic wood-fired oven, providing everything you need for self-catering during a weekend escape or longer stay. An espresso coffee machine is also provided for your morning coffee.

The comfortable lounge is a cosy place to unwind, particularly during the cooler months, with a wood-burning fireplace and split-system air conditioning. An LCD TV is provided, along with a collection of DVDs, CDs, videos, books, puzzles and games for relaxed days at home.

Outside, there's plenty of space to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Cook together in the BBQ area, make dinner using the gas pizza oven, or gather around the campfire under the stars. Guests also have direct access to the Blackwood River and McAtee Brook, making the property a great choice for those wanting to spend time outdoors and reconnect with nature.

- $200 refundable security deposit is required prior to your stay. This will be refunded within 7 days after checkout, provided no damage, excessive cleaning, or policy violations are found during the property inspection. 
- ID of the primary guest is required prior to check-in.
- Firewood is to be provided by guests. However, firewood can be requested prior to arrival and arranged for an additional fee.

This property offers fully self-contained accommodation, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. To get you started, we supply essential items such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, milk, and some cleaning products for the first couple of days. We also provide a selection of basic kitchen supplies—please contact us for a full list. If you require additional supplies during your stay, our office can assist with restocking, which may incur a small fee.
