Lapped by clear Mediterranean waters ideal for snorkelling, the beach here is a mix of soft sand and shingle with water sports such as boat hire, pedalos and scuba diving often available.

Many other picturesque beaches such as Glyfada (5.2km) and Agios Gordios (12.9km) can be found within easy distance and various local tavernas dot the surrounding countryside. The island capital, Corfu Town as well as the celebrated seaside town of Paleokastritsa which boasts six beaches together with an enviable selection of water-themed activities, shops, bars and local tavernas are each around a 25-30 minute drive.
