For wild moorland, rivers and waterfalls, head to Exmoor National Park which can be reached within 12 miles. Or for pristine gardens, exhibitions and a welcoming restaurant, visit RHS Rosemoor (15 miles). Portmore Golf Club ins within a short drive and offers a driving range.
