This awe-inspiring home is a completely renovated 1930s former post office with an expansive new luxury addition master suite with huge private spa en suite bathroom in Mount Dora's prime Historic District! Ultra-modern open floor plan with breathtaking wrought iron tree beds and fantasy forest decor...you've never experienced anything like this before! Guests will be surprised to walk into the historic cottage facade into a crisp ultra modern and spacious, open-plan interior! The heart of this home is a spectacular light-filled gathering place surrounded by windows, including two large windows near the top of the vaulted ceiling with treetop views that create the feeling of being in a clearing in the middle of the woods! Each of the rooms depicts a dazzling forest setting at different seasons and different times of the day and night!

I can't say enough about the Modern Tree House. First, the entire place is a piece of art. Everything is artistically woven together, from the chandeliers, to the furniture, the unique and varied pieces of cleverly placed sculptures and wall hangings, pillows, rugs, quilts, afghans and on and on. Even the dishes were unique and one of a kind. The house was spotless. Coffee pot made the perfect cup of coffee. Bed sheets were silky. The pillows allowed for a great night's sleep. Great and varied lighting throughout. Access into the house easy peasy. Plus so much more. Liz also made herself available for any help we might need. If you can, you MUST see for yourself. Oh, and Mt. Dora is a great town to visit too!

This is the most wonderful vacation home we have stayed in, nothing was ever misssed from home and it was all in the details. Location is great 15 minute walk to downtown. Thank you Lee and Liz for making our vacation unforgettable!

House was very bright and clean. The owners put lots of creativity and hard work into renovating the house. A ten minute walk to restaurants. Communication with owner was excellent! Great for our family weekend trip!

The Modern Tree House was an amazing home with all the amenities we needed! From a well stocked kitchen to pampered bed & baths! Our girls weekend was a great location to town, quiet neighborhood & plenty of parking. Thank you for the recommendations for restaurants & local events. We can't wait to return again next year!
