This beautiful log cabin, with gorgeous pine flooring is the star of the area with modern upgrades. Relax outside on the porch, in the jacuzzi, or around the fire pit with a glass of complementary wine. Pike's Peak has a fully stocked kitchen to prepare full meals for the family. This beautifully cabin is located in a picturesque setting, perfect for enjoying a quiet evening on the front porch, or grilling on the charcoal grill. This cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We traveled with our two children and our small dog and we all had a wonderful time. We’d love to stay here again in the future.

I thought I had been "communicating" with someone the whole time from the moment of booking but realized after check-in that "Justin and Christy" may not even exist! It was an auto-bot that was set to send several messages before and during the stay. I know this because we left after only 2 hours of being there and I no one responded to me about this. The cabin had a "vibe" when we first walked in --- there were 2 wine glasses on the table with a bottle of wine, a red heart shaped bathtub in the master bedroom, and a book on "relationships" sitting on the dresser. We had provided information that a family of 4 was coming for a birthday and anniversary celebration. I don't think any of my messages were ever read by anyone. There was a dead fly in the bathtub and when I tried to rinse it down the drain the faucet would not shut off until we kept playing with the knobs to get them just in the right place. The dining table was sticky. The bathroom towels tucked under the sink had seen better days. Overall the cabin was dark and seemed bigger in the photos. We left after a TICK fell from the ceiling and landed on my shoulder. We did not want to stay after that (family member had a severe case of Lyme disease a few years ago) so we cleaned up and let them know through VRBO app. No one responded! All their messages state "we want a 5-star rating so feel free to contact us in VRBO or at numbers below", but there were never any numbers to call. Poorly managed.
