Several evenings I came from work and all along the street families out in front yards sitting around in chairs/tables socializing. Kids out playing riding bikes . Area quiet at night.

Runners, joggers, and walkers, we are 2 blocks away from Perl Mill - Ellerbe Creek Watershed. Go out the front door and walk down the hill.
Many of our guests walk downtown.

Very comfortable home. Was exactly what we needed while taking my mother to a week of appointments at Duke University Hospital. Excellent location for dog walking and having a fenced in yard for them to play in. Jim was quick to respond with any questions and gives excellent recommendations. Highly recommend if you are in Durham for a long or short stay.

We had a magnificent stay! Jim and Donna are great hosts. The lodgings were as good as pictured. We had a small dog with us and the fenced in backyard was perfect! Bed was very comfortable. Great kitchen. Convenient to great pizza, restaurants and Duke. The only negative was no doubt our own lack of knowledge because we couldn’t figure out how to get the channels on the television that we were seeking. We joked that we needed our nephew there with us to decipher LOL

The neighborhood wasn’t the best and the floors of the house were not too clean. Everything else was really nice.
