The cottage is ideally situated in the heart of historic Southport - a short walking distance to all of the quaint antique stores, chic boutiques, and laid-back riverfront seafood restaurants and bars.
The Oak Island Beaches are 10 minutes away. Bald Head Island and the beaches of Pleasure Island: Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher are just a 20 minute ferry ride from Southport. The ferry is 6 minutes from the cottage.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice, cozy cottage. The welcome basket and bottled waters were very nice and thoughtful! The mattress & pillows were very comfortable! We loved that all of our favorite restaurants and shops were in walking distance! Kelly responded to questions immediately, which was very helpful. We love Southport! Scarlet & Blake

Loved this cottage and stay in Southport. Host was friendly and communicative. Very welcoming. She messaged about half way through the stay to see if there was anything we needed. The cottage was private and convenient to everything. Parking was easy in designated spot, but can walk to most places. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. You truly see and hear birds around Birdsong Cottage. Perfect for a couple. If we’re back in Southport, will definitely book again.
