This is a nice cabin, definitely some call outs. The grass was EXTREMELY high and not maintenance at all. No attention to detail for the outside of the cabin. The pool area was nice however A LOT of bugs, I would recommend spraying for insects. Speaking of insects we found serval on the couches, even crawling on my 9 year old. I get it it's a cabin which I've stayed at serval other ones and never this issues. Pool speakers were not working. 3 level of the cabin smelled like a dog had peeled so when it got humid you can smell it. It really is a nice cabin just need the owner to really understand the details matters.

Everything was clean, the set up was great. Our host was super friendly and helpful! We enjoyed playing music in the pool, listening to nature in the hot tub, and some competitive games of pool. Would love to go back!

This cabin is the absolute gold standard for a private forest retreat, offering that rare "middle of nowhere" feel without sacrificing an ounce of luxury or convenience. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely closed off from the outside world; the property is perfectly tucked away in a quiet, wooded location The decor is a highlight in itself—sophisticated, warm, and intentional. It lacks the typical "rental" feel, instead offering a personal, high-end atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and never leave. This sense of sanctuary is anchored by two incredible features: a pristine indoor pool that allows for a private swim regardless of the weather, and a secluded hot tub on the deck where you can soak in total silence under the stars.Despite the deep-woods seclusion and the feeling of being entirely off the grid, the location is incredibly convenient. Let me start by saying this would be a great rental for a couple and only a couple. The cabin is nice enough and decently kept. There's really nothing too bad or too great about it, but it's definitely better for two people sharing a bed.That said, it's absolutely not great for people who are not sharing the main bedroom. There are several reasons for this.- 'it sleeps 8' is accurate if you're willing to be crammed in there with one shower and the main bathroom is in the main bedroom so when you're sleeping, you can't easily utilize the one in house bathroom.- If you decide to sleep in the game room, which is just a small pool table, you get a couch and a damaged futon that doesn't fold properly. On top of that, you need to go two floors down to the basement to get to the half bath toilet.- The door to the pool from the house has an alarm that's about 6ft up with a 7 second time limit before it, very loudly sounds. You press it so that you add 14 seconds to get through the door. This works maybe half the time. Then, to renter, you need to reach up to a handle that's eye level if you're inside and 6.5ft up when standing on the basement staircase to reach up. This then causes you to step down and carefully navigate back into the house while the alarm inevitably goes off. Remember, this is a process you'll do A LOT if you're not sharing the main bedroom. It's annoying. Very annoying.- The pool is very loud and the sound is ok at best.
