Had to vacate upon arrival as the minute you opened the door all you smelled was cat/dog urine. I was able to get a refund for stay, however the host only approved half and Vrbo covered rest. Either way it was not sanitary and made me and my babies sick to our stomach’s due to smell.

This was by far the worst accommodation experience of our entire trip. The moment we entered the house, we were hit with a terrible odor that made the place feel unpleasant. We arrived late at night after a long hike and were too exhausted to look for another place, so we stayed. The problems continued almost immediately. With normal use, both the kitchen sink and bathtub became clogged. We tried opening the windows for fresh air, but only the living room window opened. When we attempted to open the kitchen window, curtain simply fell off its hooks. It did not break; it was clearly not secure. We left it as it was. The smell was so bad that we kept the front door open for nearly two hours and left the bedroom doors open all night just to make the house tolerable. The most frustrating part came afterward. We were charged for the window fixture/curtain rod that had fallen off on its own and were also blamed for clogging the sink, even though both issues existed during normal use. When we contacted the property management two days later, after our hectic travel schedule, they refused to refund the charges, claiming we should have reported everything the same day. Poor maintenance, unpleasant conditions, and unfair charges made this the only negative experience of our entire trip. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and it has seriously reduced my confidence in using VRBO in the future. Beware of the scam by the host.

Visit was mostly pleasant. Would have been 5 stars except for a few handyman type fixes that detracted from the experience. The bedroom doors stuck to the point that it was difficult to close the doors without waking kids. Kitchen chairs were wobbly/loose. Would have liked a dishrag in the kitchen.Other than the few things though, this was an excellent visit.

Very disappointed with this property. Luckily we were only booked for one night and just needed a place to sleep. There is a lot of equipment in the kitchen but not sure if anything works, as we did not try to use anything as it did not look very clean. The coffee pot (one of three coffee makers) had dried coffee in it. Everything looks very well worn. The description of the property is accurate but it really doesn't say much. As an example, there is a dishwasher at the property with no racks and is unusable - the listing does not say there is a dishwasher. The listing says dryer, but there actually is a washer - I am assuming it does not work (we did not try to use it). I would not stay here again or recommend this place for a long stay.

We stayed at this house on our way from Anchor Point to Denali, so it was a brief stop. It absolutely does not have space for 8 people despite being listed for 8. It is missing a double bed in one of the bedrooms. We could not find enough blankets for the 6 people in our group. The eating space is one tiny table with 3 stools and a small bar area that has 3 chairs. Thankfully, we were eating in shifts anyway. Otherwise, the house was clean and had easy check in/check out.
