● Waikiki Grand Hotel Plumbing Construction Notice:
To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!
● If your travel plans require a quiet environment during daytime hours, we completely understand and suggest considering alternative dates so you can fully enjoy your stay with us!
The space
· Ocean, beach, and park view directly from window
· Steps from famous Waikiki Beach, Honolulu Zoo, restaurants & bars, and many tourist attractions.
· Queen size bed with 12” Mattress
· TV with FREE high-speed Wi-Fi
· A/C and ceiling fan
· Kitchen with small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, K-cup coffee maker and tableware.
· Full bath with bath towels and beach towels provided.
· Beach chairs upon request at front desk.

· This condo has an ocean & beach view, unit is 215²ft and priced accordingly.
It is ideal for solo travelers or couples who travel light and comfortable with sharing intimate space.
· Closing the window will help in reducing noise level. But please understand we are steps from the world-famous Waikiki Beach! The ocean view is just across from the busy Kalakaua Ave. Gladly most of our guests find no problem at all.
· At the end of trip, for guest who have any item they would like to leave for future guests (chair, boogie board, etc) please kindly bring to front desk.
Please DO NOT leave them in the closet or the unit, so our next guest can fully utilize the space.
· For guests who have any issues during stay, we have the front desk staff there to assist 24/7.
We also have a professional management team that responds to our guests in a prompt manner. For guests who send a request/question, please check and refresh VRBO app often for response.

We booked this room for 14 nights. Is this a fancy resort? No, but that is not what this is advertised as. I’m the type of guy that is hardly in the room, so we didn’t want a fancy place for 4-5 nights, we wanted to see the beauty of the island for as long as possible. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the street below the room is busy and can get loud, so bring earplugs if you need to. I would definitely rent this room again. The view of the crater and the ocean are absolutely stunning.

Excellent location near everything. Price was awesome, view was awesome. Diamond head and ocean view. Block away from beach, steps away from restaurants even 2 in the building.

Great location, but worn and very noisy apartmentThe main strength of this apartment is the location – close to everything and an excellent base for exploring the area. The apartment has what you need, and while it is small, that was fully expected.Unfortunately, there are several downsides that lower the overall impression. The apartment is significantly more worn than the photos suggest, and it did not feel completely clean upon arrival. It is also very noisy, with a lot of street noise and music coming from outside – bringing earplugs is highly recommended.The air conditioning was unreliable and very loud when it did work. The kitchen faucet made alarming noises when using cold water, and the bathroom faucet only produced a very thin stream of hot water.All things considered, if you are not sensitive to noise or a worn interior, this can still be a good place to stay due to its excellent location. The staff were friendly and communication was good. However, the apartment would greatly benefit from a refresh and better sound insulation in the windows and balcony door.
