BUT no interior access to go from the first floor to the first floor, obligatory passage by the external staircase. And to relax a bubble spa just for you.
The hamlet of Lavillat where the chalet is located (at altitude compared to the heart of Corveissiat) is located 30 minutes from Bourg en Bresse, 1h20 from Lyon and Geneva and 25 minutes from Oyonnax. In the nearest town Thoirette (10km) you will find all the necessary small shops and a small Carrefour Express supermarket not to mention a pharmacy, a post office and a doctor
What outings could seduce you? the Corveissiat retreat, a nice half-day hike, the Cize-Bolozon viaduct, the Thoirette beach and its kayak trips, the village of Treffort-Cuisiat where shows are performed at the castle in the summer season, the tree climbing and the Grange du Pin lake, the royal monastery of Brou in Bourg en Bresse, the caves and the copper museum in Cerdon, the lake of Vouglans with its beach and water sports, the Bonnet silk factories in Jujurieux, the Genin lake (nicknamed the little Canada) as well as the lake of Nantua, all less than an hour from the chalet. For hiking enthusiasts, there are many trails starting from the chalet in hilly and green landscapes and for the more sporty, the Retord plateau about an hour's drive away. And let's not forget the bike circuits (the tour of the Ain by bike passes in front of the chalet) as well as fishing spots in the Ain river and many lakes. Enough to spend a pleasant stay whatever the type of holiday chosen, even idleness and letting go are allowed or even recommended in this bucolic setting.
