Just spent 4 nights at Hawthorne, and was extremely impressed by both the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation and by the extremely welcoming and friendly Maria. Because of covid, we were very wary about going anywhere this year, but the extreme care that had gone into the preparation of the cottage between guests totally eased my mind. It's so nice to find accommodation that both accepts dogs (yes we took our little one) yet maintains a really high standard of cleanliness. My partner and I will definitely be returning.

Cottage was very well equipped and very clean. We are used to a king size bed at home with a memory foam mattress so the standard size bed with sprung mattress took a bit of getting used to, but we slept OK from second night on. The owner was very friendly and helpful and there was a relaxed feeling about the venue. Surroundings were very pleasant.
