Central apartment in a typical Florentine building, just a few minutes' walk from the Duomo and the city's main attractions. Large and newly renovated, with attention to detail and comfort: elegant, welcoming and surprisingly quiet, ideal for a relaxing stay in the heart of Florence.
The apartment is located on the second floor (without elevator) and measures about 200 m². It can accommodate up to 6 people and consists of three bedrooms with double beds, all equipped with private bathrooms, a large living room with comfortable sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, an additional bathroom with a shared bathtub and a laundry room with a washer-dryer.

Check-in and check-out
Check-in: from 14:00 to 20:00, by appointment. We ask you to let us know your arrival time in advance, so as to better coordinate us. Check-out: by 10:00 a.m. Check-in after 20:00: possible subject to the availability of our staff, with a supplement: 50€ until 22:00 · 80€ from 22:00 to midnight · 100€ from midnight to 02:00. Check-in after 02:00 is not possible.
Guest registration (legal requirement)
Italian law (art. 109 TULPS — R.D. 773/1931) requires us to communicate the identity of all guests to the public security authority. Upon check-in, we will then ask you for a valid identity document for each guest (for foreign guests, a passport). Without this data, we cannot deliver the accommodation to you. This is a requirement for all accommodation facilities in Italy: we record data only for the purpose of public security control.
Tourist tax
The City of Florence applies a tourist tax of 6.00€ per person per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Minors up to 12 years old are exempt. (To be paid at check-in/already collected from the platform — adapt according to the booking channel.)
What is included in the rate
Air conditioning, heating, electricity, water, bed linen and towels, use of the washing machine.

The apartment is located in a residential building, so:
No parties or events are allowed. We ask you to respect the silence after 23:00 and avoid slamming doors. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Any additional guests other than those indicated in the booking must be agreed with us in advance.
Heating and air conditioning
Heating: as required by national legislation (D.M. 383 of 06/10/2022), for the City of Florence, the system can be turned on from November 8 to April 7, for a maximum of 11 hours a day, with a temperature adjusted between 19 °C and 21 °C (tolerance included). Air conditioning: to reduce consumption and respect the environment, we ask you to use the air conditioner responsibly, maintaining a temperature of 19—21 °C and turning it off when you leave.

Keep your keys carefully. In case of loss or failure to return, for security reasons it will be necessary to replace the lock, with a charge of 50.00€.
Overtime interventions
For urgent interventions made necessary by improper use by the guest and requested outside office hours (22:00 — 08:00), a fee of 100.00€ will be applied.

The apartment is located in the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), reserved for residents: it is not possible to park freely on the street without incurring a fine. There are two options: a paid private garage in the immediate vicinity (convenient but more expensive), or a car park outside the center (cheaper), from which to reach the apartment by public transport. If you arrive by car, contact us first: we will show you the best solution.

The apartment is beautifully acquainted with 3 spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms that make this the perfect place for a family to call home during our stay in Firenze. It is an idea location, walkable to all attractions. 10/10. But... I was disappointed on my arrival of being charged a city tax w/o prior notification. It was not in the listing nor was I informed by email or WhatsApp. I could have moved past that but for the host not taking accountability, blamed VRBO and was awfully continually rude. We were only provided 4 bath towels for 5 paying adults, limited minimal supply of soap the size of a squared quarter, and 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 days to share with again 5 adults. There was no coffee for the pod coffee maker. I was chastise for my American expectation of requesting two extra towels and coffee as these are a courtesy and I could go to the market to buy whatever I need. They did bring us 3 towels 24 hours later but it certainly was not their pleasure. The host dropped off coffee cups, still no coffee for their specialty coffee machine, the following day. Joke? Add this to 730AM rebuilding of a concrete patio just below our windows day 1 and day 2 with no coffee. Frankly they should have delivered us espressos and limoncellos for dealing with all that early morning head pounding noise and the condescending unfriendly hosts. I found it interesting IStay prides themselves on "feel like home". Treat guests w/human dignity please!!

We loved this place! Excellent location with easy walking to everything. Great breakfast place across the street. There’s a couple flights of stairs to access apartment but that wasn’t a big deal for us.

We loved our stay here! It is beautifully redone and has a washer-dryer combo which was very handy since this was the end of our 2 week trip. All the rooms are large so we felt we could breathe and not be on top of one another. Many restaurants in and bars nearby. Easily walkable to all sites we visited. The last 2 flights of stairs are rather steep.
