This 250-year-old farmhouse is ideal for a family seaside holiday. It’s close to Newquay with its beaches, zoo and boating lake.. Ground Floor:

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Large, enclosed garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Haven is the perfect base for a family seaside holiday or a peaceful break.
Situated just 1½ miles from the beautiful Crantock beach and Gannel estuary, it offers a wealth of opportunities to enjoy and explore the delights of Cornwall. Pretty Crantock village boasts two pubs, two tearooms and a well-stocked village shop. The National Trust land and car parks offer direct access to the South Coast Path. Surf and paddle boarding schools run directly from Crantock beach, which is manned by lifeguards throughout the holiday season.
Busy Newquay is only 2½ miles away with its beaches, shops, restaurants and pubs, a zoo, boating lake, sports centre and splash pool. Many other attractions including the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens are all within an easy drive.
The Haven is a delightful 250-year-old farmhouse with tremendous character, set in a well-established south-facing garden, overlooking farmland. The property adjoins the owner’s small apartment. Ample car parking is available. Shop and pub 1½ miles.

The Haven is a beautiful Cornish Cottage in a fabulous location. The house comfortably accommodated our family of six . The hosts were friendly and helpful and made sure our check in went as smoothly as possible. The house is spacious with everything you would need and more . The well kept large garden was beautiful with the added bonus of garden games and various seating areas . Our host even left some toys for our 3 year old grandson to play with . We were also welcomed with a generous welcome pack which was lovely.
I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to family and friends.

Magic place. Good welcoming pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk, to revive us after our long journey. Pauline and Tom were exemplary hosts, with local knowledge freely shared, a home that welcomed us and had everything we needed in it. It had been Covid cleaned prior to our arrival an Pauline texted us when it was ready (ahead of our travel time, as it happens). It had great beds, was very comfortable and a beautiful garden with much interesting wildlife.

A beautiful cottage with a beautiful garden. It had everything you could possibly need, a shower in the bathroom upstairs and a bath in the en suite downstairs, a well equipped kitchen including a washing machine and tumble dryer! The owners were lovely and helpful and showed us around the cottage and garden and they even supplied complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, cookies, washing up liquid, hand soap and toilet rolls. The cottage was close to a lot of attractions and beaches. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit Cornwall.

A great cottage in a great location with a very private garden ideal for family BBQs. Easy to get to local beaches and further afield and nice to come back to in evenings will definitely want to book again.
