Situated on top of the Yorkshire Wolds, this beautifully presented holiday cottage is the perfect base for accessing all the local amenities.. 1 step to entrance.

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed, Pull Out Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Ground source heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Tumble dryer in garage. External games room with multi-use table and dartboard. ¼ acre enclosed tiered, lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Paddock by arrangement. Bike store. Electric car charging point at cost. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. Nestling close to the Yorkshire Wolds and Minster Way, this well-presented property enjoys views over a paddock to the rear, which guests can use for their enjoyment, as well as a large garden and a sunny patio. The property benefits from eco-friendly, renewable heat sources, comprising of a ground source heat pump that services the radiators, and solar panels on the roof that help to generate electricity.
Huggate is the highest village on the Yorkshire Wolds, being around 558ft above sea level, and boasts the deepest well in England at 339ft! There are great walks and cycle routes through the surrounding picturesque countryside including Millington Pastures and Wood. The popular village pub serves food, and is just a short stroll from the cottage.
Places of interest include Burnby Hall Gardens and famous water lilies at Pocklington, just 7 miles away, the Yorkshire Air Museum, Eden Camp and the stately homes of Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House, all provide interesting days out. The market town of Beverley, the historic city of York and the east coastal resorts are all within a 30-minute drive. Fishing available 10 miles away (licence required).
Your stay at The Weaning Shed has something for everyone, small enough for a cosy break away, or for a family, complete with grandparents and even the family dogs! Shop 7 miles, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

The Weaning Shed in comfortable, clean and well equipped with everything you need. It has a great enclosed garden perfect for dogs. The village of Huggate its lovely with a local pub, cafe and art gallery within walking distance. There is plenty to see in the local area, many shops and cafes in the nearby towns of Pocklington and Beverley. A lovely spot for unwinding and enjoying peace and quiet. It could benefit from a blackout blind or curtain in the main bedroom, only because this time of year it gets light very early.

Had an absolutely fantastic couple of days at Weavers Den. It has everything you could possibly want and more! I was worried before we arrived as we were a mixed age group - ie elderly grandparent, two dogs, two teenagers, and the weather forecast was poor. The weather was great and when we were in the cottage, the combination of the games room, garden, paddock, books, board games kept us all busy. The pub did amazing food and was only a short walk away. The kitchen was stocked like a home away from home and the welcome gifts were much appreciated!

What a beautiful cottage. Was spotless and you have everything you need, beautiful garden which our two dogs loved enclosed area and not worrying about them getting out. All the complimentary items is a lovely touch and welcomed by all and the doggie treats. Everything you need is not far away supermarkets, lovely villages, the tea room in the village is highly recommended.We are definitely coming back we have been to a few cottages but this one by far our favourite.The owner goes above and beyond and we cannot thank enough Please don't hesitate when looking at this beautiful cottage you will have a wonderful time.Thank you.
