Station House enjoys a pretty cottage garden, and is decorated with a Christmas theme during the festive season. Porter’s Lodge has a seating area adjacent to the delightfully restored station platform, where you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the trains go by. This is a perfect location to explore the surrounding area, with great walking, bird watching and myriad outdoor activities nearby. Llangollen, home to the International Musical Eisteddfod, has lovely walks along the canal and over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
