Ivybridge is located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and a short drive leads up onto the open moorland. In the other direction heading towards the coast there are many beaches, all approximately half an hour’s drive away, including Mothecombe, Bantham, Bigbury and Wembury. Plymouth city centre is 7 miles away with its historical Barbican and Hoe, as well as theatres, cinemas, bowling, pubs, restaurants, concert hall, ice skating, aquarium, ski slope and night clubs.
