The ancient farmhouse dates back to the late 1700s and early 1800s and is located at the foot of the Vereto hill, near Patù, in southern Salento. Completely restructured, it still retains its plasterwork, original floors and vaulted ceilings and is set in the middle of a system of circular farmyards, formerly a shelter for horses and mules used for agricultural work and for the transport of goods. Masseria Li Travaj is completely enclosed by ancient Salento stones.
