About this space
With the Portland Museum of Art and the State Theater a 5-minute walk away, the Old Port just 15, this stunning apartment is just steps from the best eateries, arts and shopping the city has to offer. When you arrive, park your car in the private parking space behind the house and forget about it for a while!
Built in 1835, this sunny and spacious second-floor apartment features 14-foot ceilings and original hardwood floors. His and hers bathroom is linked with a walk-through stone tiled shower.
The space
- There is not a full kitchen in this apartment. I have instead assembled a kitchenette. (See photos.) There you will have a microwave, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, tea kettle, small fridge, and water dispenser. The kitchenette has been stocked with stemware, coffee cups, plates, bowls & cutlery, etc. Coffee, tea, sugar, and honey will be provided.
- The living room and bedroom can be separated by the two large pocket doors that pull out from the wall.
- The couch can be converted into a double bed for a third guest, with a memory foam mattress topper in the closet available.
- For your little one, there is a Pack n Play as well as a high chair available.
Just let me know and I will set them up for you.

Perfect cozy apartment for a get away! Great location that’s walkable for shopping, brunch, and coffee and less than a 15 minute drive from everything else on our itinerary!

We had such a great stay here and would absolutely recommend it to others. From the start, everything was seamless—the directions were incredibly clear and parking was easy to find, which made arrival stress-free.The location is a huge plus. It’s about a five-minute walk downhill to downtown and the port area, making it really convenient to explore while still feeling tucked away in a safe, quiet neighborhood.The apartment itself was spotless and thoughtfully set up. It truly felt like a little gift-wrapped package—everything you could possibly need was there. We especially appreciated the drinks and snacks waiting for us in the efficiency kitchen closet. Such a small touch, but it made a big difference after traveling.We were traveling with a toddler, and the two ensuite bathrooms ended up being a game changer. We put the pack and play in one bathroom and used the other, which gave everyone their own space and actually helped all of us get better sleep.The host was also incredibly responsive. We had an unseasonably hot stretch during our stay, and when we reached out, they quickly adjusted the thermostat for us, which we really appreciated.The only small downside was that the couch wasn’t the most comfortable for lounging and watching TV, but there was a great air mattress available that made it easy to create a more comfortable setup.Overall, this place checks all the boxes—clean, well-stocked, thoughtfully designed, and in a perfect location. Thank you!
