We initially thought we had ocean views, but discovered months after reservations that we misunderstood in expectations and did not. Even though we did not have a direct view of the ocean we LOVED our stay at Mainsail!! It was so nice to have umbrellas and chairs at our disposal in addition to beach loungers so we could arrange our own beach experience. We saw many who had paid for concierge service only to have others set up closer to/in better location to the surf. I appreciate choosing my own location. The Inn had everything you could ask for! All was so clean, homey, and welcoming and when we recognized the beachfront miscommunication they were so accommodating and remittance in response. If you want a true ocean side location we highly recommend this! And to know they will stand behind their reputation in miscommunications is huge!!

Everything about this stay was perfect. Everything we could need was provided. Easy check-in and out, you walk right onto the beach, we had our own designated parking spot, and clean and beautiful rooms. Easy location to get to either end of the island. We will definitely be back!
