Just steps up a quiet street off Piazza Barberini and just behind the elegant Via Veneto,lies this newly renovated garden apartment with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms in a historical building from 1600's.
The charming entry hall of the apartment leads to a great room with soaring 13 foot vaulted ceilings. The living and dining area are tastefully decorated with a mix of designer furniture, art and antiques. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner gas cooktop, full-sized refrigerator and freezer, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher.
The master bedroom suite consist of a large double sized bed, designer desk and modern armoire fully fitted with an interior dresser, sliding shoe racks, hanging area and shelves. The spacious master bath has travertine marble floor and walls,and wall hung toilet and bidet. The glass-enclosed shower has three alternative water spray option - top down shower, body sprays or hand -held wand.
The study/bedroom has a modern full sized divano-letto that sleeps 2, and a full sized armoire fitted with hanging rack,drawers and shelves. There is also a wall hung TV in this room.
The second bath like the master bath,has marble floors and walls, wall hung toilet and bidet, and a glass enclosed shower similar to that in the master bath.
Both the great room and the second bedroom/ study have doors leading into a large private garden. The garden has travertine marble paved sitting and dining areas, that can be used for breakfast, aperitifs, leisurely dining al fresco, or simply relaxing in a beautiful private outdoor space.
The garden is planted with roses, jasmine,camellias, lemon and orange trees, as well as an aromatic herb border. The neighborhood is equally wonderful.

Good flat in very convenient location near piazza Berberini. prop manager was very communicative, and Gianni was great in meeting with us and showing the flat. The highlight is absolutely the outdoor space. If you value that, it's a great space - with a real lemon tree. And private. Good size apt. The AC works great. It's a quiet place, can't really hear outside noise while sleeping although close to street. Washer dryer very convenient to have, though in the basement not in apt. We had an issue with the sink drain, promptly fixed the next morning. The Nespresso machine is a godsend, and you get a dozen starter kit capsules. In the room for improvement category ... the rug in the living room was very dirty, and shag carpets are no-go in rentals. The floors are fine without them actually. Buy new or get rid of. The amenities were a bit scant. We got 2 small towels for the week, two small soaps, and hotel level shampoo. OK I guess. Be prepared to buy bathroom tissue and paper towels at the very nearby convenience store. Only one TV, with Italian only local channels. Does have Apple TV box if you have a scrip. TV is about 40 inches and not a smart TV. Sits in second bedroom/lounge. Which is a pullout couch. Such a simple upgrade as they cost like 100 these days. Overall a good value for money, and beats a hotel room for size, outdoor space and washer dryer. These few modest improvements would pay for themselves in our view. Thanks to Gianni

The apartment is beautifully and comfortably furnished with a lovely garden and is very well positioned - there is public transport available nearby but we mainly walked everywhere. It was just the best place to stay for a fortnight and truly experience life in Rome.

The property is beautiful and as described but the huge issue that made our stay uncomfortable was the lack of air conditioning.
It was hot in Rome but that should not matter. There was only central air in the hallway, master and small vent in the living room. The vent in the second bedroom did not blow cold air so we could not sleep in the second bedroom. This was unfortunate. Although the master had a vent, it did not stay cool and we could not sleep with top sheet or blankets at night.
I contacted the property manager and asked for fans but they did not have them or offer to drop one off. They did not send someone to look at the A/C unit.
It would be a great place to stay if the air conditioning worked. When we relaxed in the living room we were sweating and stuck to seats. I would not stay here again in the summer. During the cool months, it would be wonderful.
