Little Creek is a charming, but small cabin. Best fit is (2) adults or maybe (2) adults and 1-2 Children. Max occupancy is (4) people Total.
Tucked away in the picturesque pines and Majestic Hardwoods of the North Carolina High Country sits a cabin built from 200 year old logs named Little Creek. Just over one mile from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, this romantic getaway is situated on over 7 wooded acres at the end of an undisturbed lane which will provide much sought-after peace, quiet, and privacy. Guests can enjoy hiking on cabin grounds or grab a much-needed breath of fresh air curled up under the tin-roofed front or back porch with a steaming mug of coffee. On the property rests a small flower garden that attracts local butterflies and hummingbirds eager to welcome you to your newest home away from home. At the back of the property while watching the sunset over the mountains you will also be able to view an enchanting Christmas tree farm.
As you approach the cabin you will be struck by it’s picturesque setting. The exterior is authentically constructed from beautiful, antique, hand-hewn logs. This interior will not disappoint! You are greeted at the door by hickory plank flooring and a striking wood-burning fireplace. Complete with two bedrooms, the Master is located on the main level of the property, offering an antique queen bed frame and pillow-top mattress. (Please note that the frame and mattress causes this bed to be HIGHER than normal). The second bedroom and one-half bath comprise the second level of the cabin and house a double and twin bed. This unique cabin is the perfect fit for a couple or small family.

We stayed a whole week. Paul our host was so available. Check-In was easy. When we pulled into the driveway we were so happy with our choice. Pictures don't do it justice , its prettier in person. The landscaping is very nice. It's not over crowded with shrubbery. Just the right amount. The bed linens were tip notch. Every bed was so comfortable. It's on a dead end lane so the house is surrounded by forest and it's so peaceful and quiet. The back porch is a peaceful way to view nature. We are bird watchers and were not disappointed. There are lots of deer and fawn that visit the yard in the mornings and walk by in the woods in the morning and the evenings. There's a little dry bed creek with stone work in the back yard for spring overflow and heavy rains. There's a vernal pond that has frogs and salamander. They croak sometimes. All appliances are tip notch as well. I cook alot so I had what I needed. The wi-fi was very good. Lots of apps available to watch on tv. Very cozy cabin. Only 20 ‐ 25 minutes from West Jefferson and Boone. 40 minutes from Blowing Rock We will be back. Robbin Maryland 7/11/26

The cabin was beautiful- 200 year-old timbers, gorgeous wood plank floors, central air, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The back porch has a fan and comfortable furniture. There's a short walk across the "creek" (it was almost dry thanks to the drought) up a path to some chairs that overlook an adjoining Christmas tree farm. We had some issues with the wifi router (had to unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in), which the owner helped us with. The host was great- quick responses to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

This property is outstanding. It is very private, as it rests at the end of a tree-lined mountain road that literally terminates in the woods. As such, the privacy and solitude are unmatched. We especially enjoyed the large stone fireplace that was not only charming and cozy, but also functional as temperatures at 3000 ft can drop by 30 degrees as the sun sets ! Even more outstanding than the splendor of the cabin was the attentiveness and hospitality of the host. He "has your back", as exemplified by facilitating an early check in since the cabin was ready early, and then texting us once or twice during our stay to assure our needs were met.

We’ve booked cabin all across western NC and this was by far one of the best. Driving up to the property will definitely put a smile on your face. Host was extremely helpful and offered endless recommendations for things to do in the area. West Jefferson is a must see, especially on the weekend. Loved our stay.
