Long Pond is a 5 minute car ride for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boarding all of which can be rented at Pond's End via National Park Canoe & Kayak Rentals. Family fun at Somes Pond, Echo Lake beach and Beach Cliff Mountain hiking trails are approximately a 5 minute drive. Acadia National Park entrances, in Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Northeast Harbor are all a 10 minute drive due to our central location.
