Villa Gamboa is a luxury residence surrounded by landscaped gardens, perfect for those seeking privacy, comfort and unforgettable moments with family or friends. For equestrian enthusiasts, the property features an equestrian area (optional extra) with stables, riding arena and groom's quarters, offering a unique experience.
The spacious open-plan living and dining room creates a welcoming and inviting environment, ideal for relaxing and sharing good moments.
On the ground floor, there are four en-suite bedrooms, three with double beds and one with two single beds, accompanied by a service bathroom. On the first floor, there is another bedroom with two single beds.
The independent annex includes two en-suite bedrooms with double beds, ensuring additional space and privacy for all guests.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped, ready to prepare your meals with complete comfort.
On the outside, the private pool, the sun loungers, the barbecue and the outdoor kitchen provide the perfect setting to enjoy the sun and outdoor meals.
Located in Albufeira, just a few minutes from Galé, Salgados and São Rafael beaches, and close to various restaurants, this villa offers the perfect balance between tranquillity and access to the best attractions in the region.
The moving day for this property is on Saturday (however, there may be flexibility during low season).
If your flights are already booked or if your dates are fixed and do not coincide with the property's usual moving day, we ask that you send us an information request before making a reservation, to confirm whether the dates can be accepted.
This property is self-catered. For greater convenience, food hampers can be booked in advance (additional cost).
Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property's location. Nevertheless, should you be interested, we would be delighted to help with the booking. We can also arrange transfers, should you require them.
Group deposit: €300 per guest, with payment by credit or debit card to be made up to 2 weeks before arrival.
Please note that the occupancy of this property is 14.
From the 15th to the 20th guest, an additional charge will be levied which includes an extra bed.
According to current legislation, tourism taxes may be applied.

We had a spectacular stay at Villa Gamboa. The property is beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous gardens, and offers complete privacy. The open-space living area was perfect for our group, and having so many en-suite bedrooms—including the separate annex—meant everyone had their own space and comfort. We spent most of our time by the private pool and using the excellent outdoor kitchen and barbecue. The location is great, just a short drive from Galé and São Rafael beaches. A truly unique and luxurious experience!

Villa Gamboa was the perfect choice for our family holiday. The property is spacious, beautifully maintained and offers plenty of privacy for larger groups. We particularly loved the outdoor areas, with the pool, barbecue and outdoor kitchen providing the ideal setting for relaxing and spending quality time together. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to some of the best beaches in the Algarve made the experience even more special. We would highly recommend this villa and would love to return.

Unfortunately there were a number of issues with this property, which put a dampener on our trip. Given the property was badged as “Luxury” we would have expected a better standard upon our arrival. For example, multiple broken parasols left at the property, broken coffee machine, non-functioning front grate (intercom broken), no canopy curtains and damaged sofas for the canopy, no check in information upon arrival (e.g. rubbish recycling), broken shower in one of the rooms, unusable mattresses in one of the rooms, unclean high chairs, kitchen equipment not working on the induction hob, dirty bath and shower fitting (jet washers were black with dirt) and no fire extinguisher. Some of these issues were rectified but others were not, this left a real downer on our holiday. The overall property itself is a bit dated, but I would say the pool area is great (subject to providing umbrellas and towels), and the local area is great for restaurants.
