Wonderful home situated on the marsh with incredible views of wildlife and acres of marshland viewable from the living room or deck. Excellent views of Bald Head Creek all the way to Cape Fear River. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and crabbing with the kids right off the private neighborhood dock connected to the home by a boardwalk. The home features an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wine refrigerator and granite counter tops. New en suite bathroom for 2015! New expanded deck (2016) facing the marsh with wrought iron table, 6 chairs and umbrella. New hardwood flooring installed throughout the home in 2018.
A tandem kayak and 2 individual kayaks are available to kayak on the marsh directly behind the house.
It's an easy walk to the marina, restaurants and Old Baldy. The grocery store is a quick drive by golf cart. Several beaches are easily accessible by golf cart. Swimming pool and dining are available with a Bald Head Island Club membership. (Separate fee charged by BHI club) NO GOLF

Our multi-generation family enjoyed a great week! We loved the deck, the views, the location within walking distance to the lighthouse, restaurants and Band of Oz concert! We are a family of cooks, and loved the well-equipped kitchen complete with wine fridge and plenty of wine glasses. The outdoor shower is divine! We would have liked a larger tv (Wimbledon Tennis and World Cup soccer were both happening and it was hard to see the action on the tiny tv), and to have bikes included. The microwave broke while we were there, and the property management company sent a filthy replacement. And it was curious that the closet in the master suite was full of bags, shoes and other stuff, as if neglected to be cleaned out. We LOVE Bald Head Island and will return!
