The communal outdoor area on the ground floor with a well-kept garden and an open terrace is perfect to start the day with breakfast, relax in the sunshine or to spend the evenings with a glass of wine. The scenic mountainous area also offers great hiking routes and is perfect for cycling trips along the lakeshores. The island Lindau, with its charming old town centre is a 20-minute (17.5 km) from Bregenz, across the German border, and St. Gallen in Switzerland can be reached by car in 40 minutes (38 km). The tiny nation of Liechtenstein is located a 50-minute drive (55 km) south of Bregenz.
