Über diese cottage dieses Ferienunterkunft
Come enjoy your stay in our Historic "Beach Box" across the street from the beach. This 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is just steps away from a very exclusive and beautiful beach. We have central heat/air, washer/dryer, High Speed Wifi, Smart 65" TV and plenty of off street parking.
Our beautful little cottage features two queen pillow top beds and two twin pillow tops. We have a full size kitchen with all that's needed to cook a full dinner!
We hope you will love the original wood plank walls and ceilings. This is the way they built these original cottages years ago. Even the cabinets are built from the same wood and by the same carpenters. A very Historic Outer Banks Beach Cottage. This beach cottage can be described as Rustic. We are making improvements to our new addition and you may notice a few minor imperfections. We hope you will love the fabulous location as we are focused on providing a clean and comfortable respite for you and your family.
Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 75 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. But even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home.

If you love the beach or love fishing this is a great place to stay. Literally a 1 minute walk to the beach. The house was cozy and sleeping was no problem!

We had a great time and had direct beach access. We were close to lots of fun activities and good restaurants which was amazing as well. Everything about the check in process/owner communication was great, however it was a little outdated and small for my liking. Everything else was perfect.

The property is in a great location close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc., 2 minutes walk to the beach on the ocean side, 20 min drive to the soundside beach. 40 min drive to the nature preserve with the wild horses. Very clean. The house itself needs a little TLC, but this did not affect our stay at all.

The location was perfect for us. The host was generally responsive to issues. There was an issue with water leaking in the kitchen from the ceiling, which we solved by putting pots down to catch the water. It seemed to be coming from condensation from the central air. The air conditioning worked well, and the house was generally clean inside. There is "deferred maintenace" some obvious in the pictures, some not. This is truly a "beach bungalow". The property is not fancy, but also not advertised as such. If you rent, the main thing to know is -use caution on the stairs/deck. Otherwise, enjoy the beach and the slow pace of the OBX.
