This 4,023 sq ft beach house sleeps 14 across six spacious themed bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and was lovingly designed for families and their dogs to enjoy the ultimate OBX beach vacation. Heatable private pool, elevator, game room with pool table, private dune walkway to the beach, and panoramic Atlantic views with wild horses grazing on the dune make Sandy Paws one of the most complete oceanfront rentals on the Northern Outer Banks. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is required. Three-night minimum stays available in spring and fall. Free pool heat available for open spring weeks.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements
Six themed bedrooms sleep 14 guests: four king bedrooms each with private bath, one twin bedroom with two twins, and one bunk room with a double and bunk bed. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom — a rare luxury in any vacation rental.
Heatable Private Pool & Outdoor Spaces
The private heatable pool features LED spa lighting and is surrounded by poolside lounge chairs. A private dune walkway leads directly to the oceanfront beach. Watch the famous Corolla wild horses graze peacefully on your dune, enjoy a seaside picnic, or stargaze from the private spa at night. Both propane and charcoal grills, outdoor furniture, and a picnic table round out the outdoor amenities.

Returned for our 5th year to this location and as always was a wonderful stay. Couldn’t ask for a better location and the house has everything you need. Staff are very responsive and helpful. A vacation my older kids want to continue going on. Even my dogs love it.

Property is well maintained and has all the amenities you could possibly want. From the drive in on the beach to horses in the front and back yard Sandy Paws was an excellent vacation destination for our family.

Disappointed with the cleanliness of the toilets. The master bedroom had dog hair all over the bedskirt. This was a board by pool that was sticking up and cut a few guest. The pool entrance and inside area was loaded with pine needles that we had to clean everyday. Lots of popped nails and BEWARE OF THE RAILING ON TOO DECK...it is holding on by a tread!! I can’t forget about the bedding!!! Bring your own pillows cause what is there is flat as a mat with a case over it 😠 The livingroom rug had stains all on it. The house needs a complete update. Everything is old dark and used. This was our second year and will not be returning. Our family has been going to OBX for 17 yrs and have always looked forward to the return the following year. It’s always fun to see what’s new in the house. We had nothing. 🙁As our family grows so does the house we need to rent. This was a good size but not what we are use to and not for the price we paid.
