1.Awesome Location 1.5 block to it all! beach, restaurants, mall, bowling fast food, gas station. you can walk everywhere
2.Golf cart: 6 seater golf cart comes with the house for free for use to the beach only, no reimbursement of cart breaks down, keep charging while parked in driveway, any issues with cart please park on side road and call me. Do not tow it, do not push it. Any damages caused by renter will be charged.
3.Pool: Largest, Deepest, Private, best in the area
4.Outdoor patio space; TV, outdoor living room, under roof, grill, outdoor table
Crystal Beach Cottage located in the prime area of Destin! A must rent.
BEACH 1.5 block Walk 1.5 block and be at the center of it all!! GORGEOUS BEACH, RESTAURANTS, SHOPPING, BARS, GROCERY STORES, BOWLING MOVIES, MALL, AVOID THE DESTIN TRAFFIC.
PRIVATE POOL-: The home has one of the BIGGEST and DEEPEST pool in the neighborhood 12.5 x 28 feet and approx 8 feet deep! The pool has a walking ledge that goes around the deep end, a nice feature. It also has 4 seats that are in the pool where you can sit and relax with a cold drink.The pool is private and is surrounded by palm trees. Heated pool option is available.
TV/PATIO- Large covered patio with plenty of seating, eating and BBQ. It’s just off the pool. It has a 55” TV outside. A great family gathering. You can enjoy plenty of shade in the afternoon and plenty of sun early in the morning for sun bathers
ACTIVITIES - Gorgeous Destin Commons Mall, Movies, fast food and fine dining restaurants, bank, bars, bike and jogging path, and office depot. Outlets, boat rentals, jet ski rentals, pontoon rentals are BLOCKS away.
LIFE GUARD- there is a life guard stand just off the entrance to the beach. Feel safe with the life guards who are at the beach from 9-6pm.
WRAP AROUND COVERED DECK- Hang out on the deck for that early morning shade, plenty of seating and a great place to drink your coffee or get out of the rain. 4 doors in the house leads you to the covered deck.
GOLF CART is in working
Order and maintained. However in the event it has maintenance issue there is no reimbursement or replacement. Golf cart is an included in rental as a gift. To use to go to beach only, keep it charged while in driveway, call me with any issues, do not push or tow, damages made by guest will be charged. Home is approximately 2300 square feet, open floor plan.

Our family of 9 had a fantastic week here. Our grandkids aged 2, 6 and 10 loved the backyard pool. The golf cart made it fun and easy to get our gear to the beach. We had plenty of room in the house. We loved having coffee on the porch (great outdoor living space) each morning and enjoyed watching a little TV out there as well. The location is perfect- within walking distance to Destin Commons and the beach,Lydia was super easy to work with and promptly responded when we contacted her.We cooked several meals in the house and appreciated the well supplied kitchen. (Mixer, crockpot, coffee makers, baking dishes just to name a few.)The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was beautiful, in a fantastic location, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The provided golf cart made getting to the gorgeous beach just two blocks away quick and easy. After long days in the sun, we loved coming back and unwinding in the pool, which was an added bonus. The property was well-maintained, thoughtfully stocked, and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach getaway!

We rent in Destin every year. We enjoy the location and proximity to the beach. This property is average based on what we normally see. It is a nice home, but the previous reviews set unrealistic expectations.
We were expecting a little more based on the review we read prior to booking, but were not surprised with the reality. It has clearly been a rental for a very long time and needs a little tlc. The mattress in the owner's suite has two dips that are about 6" deep, with what feels like a mound in the middle (certainly seems like it was a nice mattress when it was newer). Your are basically stuck in one spot in the bed while sleeping. The outdoor cushioned furniture is torn. While the home is relatively clean, we found excess layers of dust in the downstair bath and light fixtures. Also, our kids feet would turn black when they walked bare foot.
