Private on 5 acres! You can experience this one of a kind, authentic log cabin in a secluded area that is centrally located and easily accessible! It has Wi-Fi and flat screen TV's. It is very clean, well maintained! Bear Lodge has an amazing secluded setting on 5 acres in a gated community. Black Bear Hollow has just 7 cabins on a private road that is about a half mile long. Experience a true mountain cabin on acreage that is not in a subdivision or resort. We are within minutes to Pigeon Forge, Townsend, Gatlinburg, GSMNP, Metcalf Bottoms and Cades Cove. Guests now have FREE access to a pool located less than a 5 minute drive from the cabin!

Your gps will like take you to the next driveway so pay attention for the black bear cabin sign! Other than that everything was great! Communication with host was on point 100% even answered me from the airport and kindly let us know we were at the wrong gate. The house was perfect and sitting on the front porch at night to watch the lightning bugs was one of the highlights of my stay! We will be back and totally recommend. Then recommend highly the heavenly roast and sloppy hog right there minutes from the cabin!

Pros - Great place. Rooms were clean. Jerry was very attentive. Got to see some bears on the grounds the 1st morning and 4th night. Lots of sleeping space. Location was perfect to get to everything and still have that seclusion.The only cons was the main floor bath didn't drain very well, debris in the hot tub (due to cover needing replaced) and no net to clean, back deck has some rotted wood.Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and would stay again.

The house was in a beautiful location! We did run into 3 bears, one of which stayed outside the back door for a while. We ignored it and it went away.

Pool table is not in good shape. House is very crowded and dark. Could use a deep cleaning Cabin needs work. Location is great. Our stay was fun just needed more space to move around and a pool table we could play on.
