Era acollidor i detalls ben cuidats

The apartment was compact, but charming, tastefully decorated with everything I needed for my stay. I really liked the opening windows and the small balcony in the bedroom as this allowed me to dry towels and clothing. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, the airconditioning worked well and the kitchen area was great, so I was very comfortable during my stay. the location of the apartment was also good. just a very short walk to the road that led to the beach in one direction and the centre in the other where there was a small supermarket, beautiful greengrocer, and a selection of other small shops and cafes. This road is also where the local bus stopped. Collioure is such a beautiful place and small enough to walk everywhere.

My only real disappointment was having to make up the bed on arrival and strip the bed on departure. It wasn't a problem and I know it's quite common in France, but I hadn't experienced this before so i was a little surprised. I was also surprised about being asked to leave a deposit with the agency and being told it would take a week to refund. The deposit actually wasn't taken, but it wasn't the best start to my experience. Finally, as some other people have mentioned the check in was a bit confusing as I made my way to the apartment, only to find that I had to go to the office first. again, this wasn't a problem because Charles was kind enough to allow me to put my bag in the room so I didn't have to take it to the office. So these were very minor things, but had i understood them in advance, it would have been helpful.
