Relax on the gracious deck, enjoy open space for outdoor play, and retreat to a three-bedroom, two-bath country home that blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Free early check-in and late check-out give you extra time to unwind, and the historic towns of Nevada City and Grass Valley, along with the Yuba River, are only 15 minutes away.
Built in the 1960s, the home features hardwood floors throughout and an open layout connecting the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The well-appointed kitchen has everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal, while the dining area is perfect for festive dinners or lively game nights. The living room includes a large screen TV, while high-speed internet is available throughout the house for both entertainment and remote work. A propane stove provides a cozy focal point during cooler months, and in summer the house stays comfortable with a wall AC unit in the living room and ceiling fans throughout.
The bedrooms feature cozy, comfortable beds that ensure a restful night’s sleep, accompanied by the soothing sound of the creek outside the windows. The primary bedroom offers a king bed and private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third includes two twin beds. This will be my third time coming to this place. I love it here. The house is nice. the pond and yard keep the kids busy for hours. They caught tons of fish! We will definitely come back. Thank you for opening up your home to families!!!

Keri and Sandy’s property was so much more than we expected when we booked. It felt like the house was made just for us. My husband and I had the beautiful master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Our son had the room with the queen sized bed and our 2 girls had the room with the two twins. We were traveling to town for my mama’s funeral (along with a niece’s baby shower and another niece’s graduation) and the beautiful serene setting provided the perfect atmosphere for the emotionally charged weekend we spent there. My son even practiced (he played at the funeral) on their beautiful piano. Everything was exceptionally clean, well stocked and easy to figure out. Grass Valley is my home town and I have lots of family still there so I visit regularly. I absolutely plan on checking availability for this house when we all come back again!

Property was clean and had everything needed for the home away from home. Beds, kitchen and showers were all stocked nicely. The location was perfectly for many different activities and visiting local towns. Would definitely recommend.

Second time staying. Perfect location for relaxing. We spent most of the time outdoors on the swing and across the pond. Fully supplied with everything needed and more. Plan on staying again when visiting family.
