We were given a wonderful welcome. Lovely owners. A marvellous house with a family atmosphere. But for the hot summer days, having a lovely swimming pool – in which we happily swam all day long – wasn’t quite enough. It’s lovely! Deep, and big enough! Wow. But it wasn’t enough. The thing is, there was only air conditioning in the main living room and the master bedroom. Halfway through the first night, with the child suffering from the stifling heat, we moved another mattress in there, and everyone slept and huddled together in it during the hot nights. Afterwards, there was a strange feeling that we hadn’t slept properly, hadn’t had any privacy, and hadn’t had enough personal space. It felt as though, with such a large and expensive house, you’d wasted your money. We didn’t use the garden much, as there really were a lot of ravenous mosquitoes)) Sadly, we couldn’t have a barbecue due to the ban and regulations on open fires, even in the town. It’s a shame that this even applied to the built-in fireplace surrounded by tiles. But let it be for the best. The internal terrace requires more maintenance and cleaning. We are grateful for the opportunity to stay in this house and for the peace and quiet, which in any case outweighs our regret that the rent is higher than it actually ought to be.

La saleté a tout gâcher, la maison n’est pas entretenue, je suis très déçue d’être passé par Booking et avoir dû faire le ménage avant de l’installer. Dommage
