Scam! Scam! Scam! Scam! Do not book here

We booked a staycation for a holiday celebration, but it turned out to be a scam. I have always booked through Booking.com, and this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. I had already paid for the booking, and just one day before our stay, I read reviews saying the listing was a scam—and unfortunately, they were right. The host messaged me asking for a ₱5,000 security deposit and said they would only share the exact location after I sent the payment. I did not send it because I know this is not the proper procedure on Booking.com. This whole experience has been very stressful and disappointing.

This is a scam! I booked for 6k 1 night and host asked for 5k deposit thru gcash but when we were on the way asking for the location and landmark nobody was answering and all numbers were switched off! We ended up booking another hotel! I need my money back! #booking.comrefund #scam
