The property was very modern and access instructions to the property was excellent, but delivered 2 days before we were due to arrive.(not so good if you are travelling). We asked for an extra bed, which was a blow-up bed deflated in the cupboard. There was no bedding for this or towels so we contacted the managing agents who had them delivered to us swiftly. The swimming pools was great and the location was excellent.

The video on where to park the car in the multi-story carpark was excellent and very much needed. However details on how to exit the carpark upon leaving is needed. The apartment is quite small for a family of four so an additional bed is not advisable.

Host not responsive to emails. The directions to access the garage were confusing but managed and then later found out that there is any easier way to enter and exit the garage than all the complicated videos and directions that were given.

Kitchen was dirty and very tired with door missing off cupboard, lacking utensils, very wobbly tap/faucet, stove and oven were filthy. Some of the blinds were missing at the bedroom windows so did not offer 100% privacy. Overall poor maintenance - bathroom wall crumbling, shower rail rusty, electric sockets not working, ripped lampshade. Desperately needs a refurb. Paid extra for a balcony that was dirty and had large chair that was ripped and unusable. Whole apartment smelt musty. This building is actually The Westerly on Lincoln, a residential building owned by a public listed company. Whether this unit was rented out by the owning company or by a tenant who was renting it out as a holiday let, we do not know. We raised our concerns within 24hrs and received an automated message saying someone may need to visit the property but no one did. Communication was very good but, like other reviewers, we thought it was AI generated. We guess it's pot-luck which unit you get given but you would expect a clean and well-maintained unit, like the ad photos. It's a shame because it could have been so much better.
