Hawton waters is very proud to have been recognised as one of the few places in the country which successfully homes long eared owls and therefore are part of the national scheme which places owls’ boxes in secure sites and monitors the breeding progress. You can also visit the Civil War Museum, International Antiques Fairs at Newark Showground, regeneration of Nottingham Castles and its Caves, and The Halls of Justice.
