Welcome to Sea Story Cottage in Pine Point Maine! The most charming and welcoming beach community in southern Maine. Enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature—or take a 1-minute walk across the street to feel the sand between your toes and the ocean breeze at nearby Pine Point Beach. Stroll back home to your outdoor shower to wash away the sand! This beautifully maintained home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a modern living room with cathedral ceilings filled with natural light, updated kitchen and baths, and a large yard and deck that's perfect for entertaining. This quintessential cottage offers it all—tranquility, walkability, and that definitive coastal Maine lifestyle.

The space
Four-bedroom beach cottage located at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, Maine. This extensive beach community is the perfect destination for a family vacation and getaway. Relax in the peaceful backyard or porch with beautiful views overlooking the salt-water marsh. Located one block from public beach access.
The cottage gives you access to multiple restaurants and activities within walking distance. You can fish off the jetty with bait/tackle shops located on the street. Local restaurants include: Salty Bay, The Bait Shed, Bayley's Lobster Pound, Stern Seafood Restaurant, Pine Point Grill, The Clam Bake, and Ken's Place Seafood. Rent kayaks or stand-up paddle boards to explore the area from the sea. The excitement of Old Orchard Beach is just 2 miles away with the famous boardwalk, shopping, bars, restaurants, arcades, the Pier, games, and Palace Playland amusement park.
The historic city of Portland, ME is also located within driving distance. Cobblestone streets are lined with shops, boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and art galleries. Harbor cruises available daily. Take a short ferry ride to one of Casco Bay's Islands or go aboard a lobstering boat and catch your very own lobster. LL Bean's home store is just 23 miles up the road and is open 24 hours every day.
The cottage includes cable, internet, heat, water, electricity, washer and dryer, kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, bath linens, bedding, and back/front porch. AC units in the bedrooms.

4 generations of my family, ages 2-78, enjoyed a week here and it worked wonderfully. We vacation in Pine Point every year and this home was our favorite so far. The house was spacious, well-stocked, and air conditioned! The location makes it very easy to walk to the beach, even with toddlers. The fenced in back yard was a huge benefit for us. There were a couple of minor issues while we were there and the host was extremely responsive and handled them almost immediately. Thank you for helping to make our annual vacation a success.

We had a great week at this house. The host was quick to answer any questions we had. It is a great location right across the street from a beautiful beach. The house was clean and as advertised. We had a great vacation and hope to return again next year!
