Today the town provides a host of fabulous eateries, great shops, a fascinating museum and at the heart of the town, Leys Hall Park provides a lovely setting for a host of recreational activities including bowls, mini golf, tennis, boating and a children’s play area. A short drive will bring you to plenty of attractions such as Heights of Abraham, a magnificent hilltop park with cable car rides, fossil exhibitions at the museum and an abundance of tranquil walking paths. If you are searching for adventure throughout your stay, nearby is the Peaks and Paddles Outdoor Adventure centre, which offers guided outdoor activities including canoeing, abseiling, and caving.
