Communication prior to our stay was second to none. We arrived to the best welcome pack ever! Sharon and Willie had thought of everything. Perfect location - just a short walk into the centre of the village, where you can find all amenities (Coop 2 x bakers, ice cream shop, chemist, restaurant etc). The cottage itself was clean, cosy and comfortable, the perfect size for 2 people. We had the best nights sleep we’ve had in ages on the super comfy mattress! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hideaway Cottage or Portsoy to anyone.

Nothing not to like

So many things… all our needs thought of… Cosy, comfortable & clean & loved cottage. Very kind & thoughtful to leave the welcome items for travellers short on time to tick all the boxes. So many lovely places to visit round about.

Nothing

The cottage is first class and the thoughtful welcome pack is much more than we have ever received. Everything about this place is excellent and we will definitely be back. 10/10.

Nothing.

This was an exceptional little getaway. It had the highest standard of clean and cosy I have seen of anywhere in a very long time. The hospitality pack was also unexpected, but consisted of, in addition to tea and coffee; bread, cereals, an Easter egg, bottle of wine, and a welcome dram. While we knew about the hot tub, we didn't expect to use it, but it completed our stay. I would thoroughly recommend this place to any couple looking for a relaxed getaway.

Did not manage to visit Sunnyside beach on this occasion (if you know you, you know).
