Just a lovely quiet spot in rural England. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great communication from the owners.

Nothing! It's a shame they're not really suited for more than one as it would be a great place to escape and share with a partner/friend.

Perfectly secluded, comfortable and clean bathroom

Nothing - was perfect

It was exactly as described. The barrel was cosy and warm. The location was stunning! It was located on the equestrian grounds in a field tucked away from the main work-grounds. Beyond were rolling hills, forests, and the Atlantic ocean. Above was more stars than I have ever seen in my life! Absolutely stunning views! The bed was also very comfortable (hint if you want the window open overnight, hang a towel out the window so the windows don't shut from wind)

The washroom/toilet combo was built ... Interestingly... The water doesn't drain properly, so after our neighbours from the other barrel had a shower they left a huge slippery puddle in the corner of the room. I actually slipped getting off the toilet because of it. (Luckily I fell back onto the toilet seat lol) So be careful, campers! There is sufficient kitchen utensils and supplies (more than expected actually) but the fridge was too small to share between two barrel-dwellers.

The cute barrels and the fire pit and the location and I slept really well! Also v clean and helpful directions and pre stay communication.

Couldn’t use the fire pit but very understandable as it did look v dry when we got there. But it would have been v difficult to cook on the fire pit as v limited cooking stuff it’s more of a marshmallow set up. The facilities were a fair walk from the barrel and the toilet in same room as shower was awkward and plenty of space to have separate. Expensive for basically posh camping. We are not that tall but anyone over 6ft would need to be warned on the length of the beds! We also had a v noisy group in the adjacent field. Couldn’t see them but could hear them so didn’t feel as secluded as it might have done
